.A PC Windows-based program which can also be used as a stand-alone application, StampTRAC will provide the ability to interface well with StampFinder's Global Stamp Exchange website. The Exchange is a large multi-dealer site where collectors can simultaneously view and purchase from the inventories of numerous dealers. StampTRAC is designed so that a collector will soon be able to use his collection inventory to interact with other philatelists on the Internet...and even offer his inventory to dealers via the Internet when it comes time to sell all or part of a collection. This has the potential of greatly enhancing the resale value of one's collection.

"This new software is being offered without charge to all collectors worldwide because the Internet is emerging as one of the primary media for the buying and selling of philatelic material," explains Richard Lehmann, president of StampFinder. One key benefit of StampTRAC will be the user's ease of sending his want list directly into the StampFinder system. StampFinder then notifies the collector by e-mail reply when items he needs are available in the system.

Collectors can use any catalog numbering system they wish—as well as utilize StampFinder's stamp coding system to categorize stamps by type and variety (imperf's, booklets, plate blocks, errors, etc.) or by topical specialty (birds, automobiles, balloons, Europa, etc.) even if the stamp has no assigned catalog number. A numbering system is also available by topical specialty (with over 600 topic choices). This valuable feature gives the user the opportunity to organize his collection into virtually any type of category he wishes, view the listings in that category, and even produce a printout of it.
